SQL and databases 2 (ENGLISH LANGUAGE)

• Lesson 1: SQL basics repeat, CASE sentence, HAVING clause
• Lesson 2: Foreign key constraints, Advanced views and triggers
• Lesson 3: Subqueries, CTE & Indexing
• Lesson 4: Connecting to a remote database, Dates, and Times
• Lesson 5: Window/analytic functions, string functions, printf(), strftime()

The knowledge of the basics of SQL is required. If you don’t have this knowledge, join our SQL and databases 1 course instead.

Knowledge of SQL as a secondary knowledge is useful for:

• every programmer, as the vast majority of programs use databases to store data. Whether it’s a computer program, a website, or a mobile application,
• general insight into the planning nature of the IT world,
• deeper insight into working with data or working with spreadsheets,
• development of general analytical and planning skills, useful even outside the profession related to SQL databases.

The course takes place twice a week, each Monday and Thursday between 17:00 and 18:30 (5 sessions in total).

Each participant needs a computer with at least 4GB of RAM and a solid internet connection.

Every student gets access to the Student dashboard where you can see all the lessons. If you miss some course sessions don’t worry – you can study the lesson on your own at home. There are also five recap lessons during the course where you can make up for the missing sessions.
